Challenge
The ACC CEMENT company began operations in Pune in 1986. Initially, there was limited track space for only 6 railway wagons, causing delays in unloading due to space constraints, thus hindering sales growth.

Raghoji group negotiated with the railways to construct an extension of tracks capable of accommodating 20 wagons exclusively for the customer.

Challenge
One of our top automobile tyre customers in Pune had to replace their logistics partner suddenly. They required the complete supply chain setup to be completed within a month and sought a service provider capable of maintaining operations without any decrease in service quality.

We selected a warehouse site, established a warehouse per the client’s requirements, improved the current workforce, and reorganized backend procedures to initiate supply chain operations within the agreed timeframe. We delivered services complying with the existing standards, ensuring no labor disturbance.

For one of our top tyre customers, a fixed location catering to product specifications was not maintained. A disrupted FIFO system resulted in problems like misplacement of Tyres, underutilization of available space, extended picking times and poor stock accuracy.

Challenge
At one of our client sites, we encountered challenges handling goods. A diverse range of products were stored in the warehouse. The demand and supply were unpredictable. The stock records and FIFO processes were reliant on the client’s system causing delays in issuing material.
Solution
We have begun developing a computer-based warehouse software, customized to meet the demands of the business. It provides solutions to reduce FIFO manual dependency, improve accuracy and manage real-time stock situations.
Impact
The software implementation is saving us time, as we can now track individual stocks and maintain stock quantity records efficiently. This has greatly enhanced stock accuracy, thus reducing the dependency on manual intervention.
